Yesterday--Sunday (Day 55) was rest day. We went out for lunch after church to Lone Star. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and boxed up half of it right away. Even though I only ate half my meal, I still got pretty full.
Today--Monday (Day 56) was the beginning of Phase 3 for us. HOORAY! I'm really ready to see some drastic results. I know that in order to get that, I'm gonna have to get stricter with my eating so out came the P90X nutrition guide again and we got to have "Italian Meatloaf" for dinner. Not our favorite...but it's healthy at least. I am going to try to make the veggie soup one day this week so we can have that as a "side" with all our meals. They really do need to put more recipes in there. There are only like 3 choices for dinner in Phase 3.
Anyway, Matt and I did the work out tonight after dinner. It was Chest & Back with Ab Ripper X. I was proud of myself because I really don't like working out at that time of the evening when I've just eaten and I'm exhausted from a long day...but I still gave it my all and kept right up with Maureen on almost everything (except the pull ups) and the dive bombers. I can do about 6 of them the right way---then I have to drop to my knees so I don't take a bite out of the carpet! I also upped my weights on the lawnmowers to 20 lb. tonight instead of my usual 15 lb. It felt good and I'm ready to get to bed now and wake up refreshed and ready for tomorrow (gym day AND plyometrics!!)
