Philippians 3:12-14 (The Message Bible)

I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.

Day 36

I started out today with scrambled egg whites and a piece of turkey sausage with whole wheat toast for breakfast and 8 oz. skim milk. Then off to the gym I went for my core class. After that I did 3 miles on the treadmill (in 38 minutes) but I only ran about half the time today and walked the rest. I was talking to some friends and I just can't hold a conversation while I'm going 7.0 on the treadmill. :o)
Anyway, afterwards, on the way home from the gym I ate a protien bar with a little baggie of fruit. That held me over until about 3 when I ate a bowl of Kashi oatmeal for "lunch." Then I still wasn't really satisfied after that, so I ate a bowl of salad (just lettuce) with light Ranch and a few Ritz.
When Matt got home, we were going to do Plyo--but--he didn't really want to do it and I had been having a toothache/headache all afternoon long so we decided to just skip it tonight. I did Ab Ripper though.
We had leftovers from last night's dinner tonight so that was quick and easy.
Overall, it was a pretty succesful day--although anytime I miss my P90X work out I feel really guilty. I just really wish I was doing the program "by-the-book"...but oh well. At this point in my life---I've just got to give it my best..and call that good-enough. :o)

Do your best and what??? That's right... FORGET THE REST!! You're doing awesome and you inspire so many with what you do daily. Jeremy and I are ate up with P90X right now maybe to a fault so don't let our "die hardness" make you feel guilty about anything!!! I just wish I enjoyed working out like you do... can you pass some of that on to me??? Bless you girl!
