Philippians 3:12-14 (The Message Bible)

I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.

YUM-those look good! and healthy!

BTW-this is in reference to your last comment on my blog-I think you are too hard on yourself sometimes. I think me and you have a very similar passion for what we want in our lives. There is nothing that makes me more advanced than you, or you different than me. All it takes is that first step into TAKING what you want out of life. That said-I just wrote a short article on losing more weight in a short amount of time on my blog. If you are in the 5-7 lb range you can either do cardio in the am before breakfast, 3 times a week (combined with your p90x strength routines in the pm-also known as doubles.) Or try the "Eat, Play, Shake" philosophy. Meaning you workout every day, and you replace 1 meal with a protein shake. You also want to make sure you follow the 3 hour rule. Eat within 1 hour of waking up, then every 3 hours thereafter, stopping at 5 meals. You want to make sure your meals are a bit smaller than usual, or else you can accidentally double your caloric intake if you eat 5 huge meals! And no one wants that. Drink nothing but water. Lots of it. Make sure you are taking the right supplements, and a good multi.

It's always nice talking to you on the web, I feel like I definately have a friend out there! Keep it up girl, and you'll get the results you want, promise.

Love Sweet Potato Fries!
We buy sweet potatoes all the time. I just slice them up, drizzle them with a little extra virgin olive oil, and season them with some black pepper, red pepper, a little cayenne, and some cumin. I then put them on my Pampered Chef Large Bar Pan and pop them into a hot oven for about 45 minutes. They turn out really spicy (which is a nice combination with the sweet). We LOVE them, and eat them at least once or twice a week.
