I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.

Day 44

Feeling good! I started out my day healthy with 2 turkey bacon, egg white scramble and 1 slice whole wheat light toast. After a quick trip to Wal-mart, I came home and did Cardio X. I soooo wish I had worn my HRM. I couldn't believe how hard it was this time. I was really putting my ALL into it though and that makes a HUGE difference! After a shower, I was going to make my "lunch" a.k.a. protein shake---but---then I remembered we had a 4 oz. baked tilapia in the fridge that needed to be eaten, so I had that instead with a few steamed veggies. Later, at 3 pm, I made up a protein shake and halved it with Brooklyn. Then Matt got home and we did Back & Biceps. As usual, my biceps were bulging. I tried to use 15 lbs everywhere I could. I never can decide if it's good or not to be using heavy weights. I do not want to bulk up...but everybody keeps telling me that women typically don't bulk up because of the lack of testosterone in our bodies. I really wouldn't mind doing more reps at a lower rate...but when you're following can only do as many reps as they are allowing if I can do at least 15-20 reps using 15 lbs. I figure I probably should...???!!!
Anyhow, we ate a quick dinner (turkey tacos on whole wheat tortilla and FF cheese) with some fresh sliced up fruit (pineapple, grapes, strawberries, bananas, kiwi) and then headed off to church.
Just now I sat down in bed--all ready to get comfy and sleepy and it dawned on me that I hadn't done Ab Ripper yet. So...back out of the bed I went and into the living room to do it. Now that I'm BACK in my bed all comfy cozy, I am SO GLAD that I got up and did it. It only took a few minutes (16) and now here I am, right back in my spot! yay! Great Job Jen! Sounds like you had a good day.
I would personally use 15's. That is what I use in my weight training, and if I give out before I'm done, I switch to my 8's. I really like the definition if gives my arms. i personally like larger arm muscles/definition. :)

What is FF Cheese? I'm guessing fat-free, but I just wanted to be sure.....maybe it's a new P90X cheese that has like 30g of Protein in it!!!
