Philippians 3:12-14 (The Message Bible)

I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.

See ya on Monday!

We had a big unexpected surprise today! My brother and his wife came to visit! We had no idea they were coming...so it was a total shock (the good kind). Of course, the bad part is...no work outs and not as healthy eating. It's just not realistic when we have a house full to try to do an hour long work out in the middle of the living room where everyone is sitting and talking. Instead of feeling guilty about it all weekend--I am just giving myself the weekend off--no guilt attached. Life is NOT all about my body and I refuse to sacrifice time with my family I hardly ever get to see. I'm actually proud of myself for taking this stand point because normally I would have #1: either tried to find a way to work out still or #2: not worked out but felt horribly guilty about it and talked about it the whole time. So...I'll be back on Monday but until then, I will be enjoying my family!

Good for you Jen and day off or a weekend off, who cares, I'm with ya. I'm having a whole weekend off. Yes, we are going to ride some bikes while we are down here but, I'm just not counting calories this weekend, I'm on vacation ;)

I hope you enjoyed your family yesterday...I know what you mean when you say sometimes that you just have to let exercise go. Thats why as hard as it is sometimes on the weekend for me, if I can just do my stuff in the morning than I'm ready for whatever comes my way later in the day...Have a Great Sunday!

Life is a lot longer than one weekend of missed workouts. It's what we do over the long haul that matters and life was meant to be enjoyed. Hope you had a great weekend. The X will be waiting for you when you start your new week.

I can't believe you're already at Day 70. These 90 days are just flying by! Easy for me to say, right? I'm not doin' all that hard work - ha! Hope you had a nice visit w/ your brother and his family.
