Philippians 3:12-14 (The Message Bible)

I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.

Blame it on the JEANS

I think I am sabotaging my weight loss because I don't want to NOT fit into my new jeans. Isn't that sad?

I love it when my jeans fit right...and I just bought 2 new pair of UHMAZING jeans that fit me like a glove.
Yay!
I've also been dropping weight fairly regularly (a pound a week) lately. SUPER YAY!

But now I can already feel myself cheating a bit on my eating and thinking in the back of my head that if I lose very much more weight...my new jeans won't fit right anymore.
On the other hand, I've been trying to lose this last 10 pounds for about 4 years and it's FINALLY starting to come off.
Aughhhhhhhhhh! this is crazy!
What's worse? Carrying around an extra 10 pounds? or not being able to wear the fabulous jeans I just spent 2 weeks of my income on?

Yeah, tough call. But the 10 lbs. off would be better for me! I had all this Christmas $ and was going to buy a coat and opted for new runners instead until the last of the baby weight is OFF. BTW - you never sent me a pic of the jeans!

Happy New Year! It's so great you're getting fitter and dropping the weight you've wanted to. My vote is drop the weight and get your jeans taken in. I've had jeans altered before. As long as you find a talented tailor, you're all set! I've found some who know very well how to handle jeans. Not sure if you splurged and went designer, but places like Nordstrom have awesome tailors they work with. Might be worth calling them? In any case, keep up the great work chica!

I understand. I did the same thing last summer! I love good fitting jeans and they are SO hard to find. Right now I have three pair that I bought at Rue 21 in the curvy fit and I LOVE them so much... but I wouldn't mind wearing a 7 instead of a 9. But those are both better than the 11-13 that I could barely stuff myself into last year!
