Philippians 3:12-14 (The Message Bible)

I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.

So far, so good...

So I did P90X Legs & Back yesterday. Insanity Plyometric Circuit today. Had my first Shakeology shake this afternoon and it was quite good.
I feel strong and encouraged and off to a great start this week. Eating hasn't been perfect, but it is improving as the days go by. We had our lasagna last night along with chocolate chip cookies, but tonight it was grilled chicken over whole wheat linguine with broccoli soup-DELISH!
I have to tell those of you who are on the fence about ordering Insanity, I really feel so grateful that this program was made and that I own it! It is harder than heck..but when I finish, there is such a feeling of accomplishment and strength! When I got done today, I could hardly see for all the sweat pouring into my eyes but my body felt solid and ripped and tight and empowered! There just isn't anything quite like it. You need it!
As for the Shakeology, I wish I could give a more detailed review...but only having 1 sample, all I can really tell you is that it tastes AMAZING! It is like melted (cold) milk chocolate. Seriously. And if you don't know what all the shakes have in them, you should really go check it out. It is practically a miracle that they can get all that in one shake AND make it taste good!

So, I know that was short and sweet...but that's where I'm at right now. How about you? How are you doing?

Hi my friend!!!! =)

I'm so glad you mentioned your Shakeology shake - I had been anxiously awaiting your review!!! I think I should try them, don't you?

And I'm defnitely, definitely, definitely going to get Insanity - after our first talk about it, I was almost 100% sure I would try it - but you just made my decision 110%! Thanks for helping with that! Do you think we should wait until we are done with our 90 days to start it?

We are still doing well, my workout last night wasn't the best though, I hate it when you finish feeling like you didn't give it your all. It was yoga, and my phone kept ringing and ringing, and then I just could not bring it in Ab Ripper the night before - I wimped out worse than ever! I don't know if I will ever, ever be able to do scissors. "Scissors - get it?" =)

You know, we have done pretty good on the eating - we have not fudged, not had a piece of chocolate, not even an M&M, not a single fry, not a single chip - but the thing is, I feel like we are cheating, because 'sometimes' we eat more veggies than we are suppose to, but not very often, and every single day, we eat probably three times as much fruit as we are suppose to!!!

Have a Fabulous day my FABULOUS BEAUTIFUL friend!!! =)

Yay... glad you liked it!

I had a question about Insanity. I've been holding off on getting it because where I workout it's all carpet. From just doing my regular plyo workouts I noticed it's too 'grippy' on the carpet and it prevents me from pivoting correctly. So sometimes my knees and ankles are sore the next day. Sometimes I even feel like I'll twist my own ankle just trying to move correctly.

anyway what's your thought on doing Insanity on carpet?

Annie,
I have ONLY done Insanity on carpet. I have a workout room with hardwood floors (where I do P90X) but I actually choose to do Insanity in my living room on the carpet because there is more cushion. There doesn't seem to be a lot of pivoting, that I can think of in Insanity. More just up and down and side to side. Lots of drills (as in Down to plank, push ups, mountain climbers, ski abs, in and outs, and then back up). Annie, there is nothing like this program to SHRED the fat off your body. It is intense and extreme and awesome and it makes the adrenaline PUMP through my veins. You know I LOVE LOVE P90X...but I have to say...Insanity is SO MUCH MORE FUN!
I hope if you decide to order, you'll consider ordering through me?

Lori,
of COURSE you should try Shakeology! Everybody should! If you sign up for the home direct program thing...you get free shipping AND some free workouts videos too! I haven't tried the greenberry flavor yet...but the chocolate is TOTALLY like having dessert! YUM!

As for Insanity...it's completley up to you whether you wait until after P90X to start it or not. Personally, I LOVE the schedule I'm doing right now..which is using P90X for the weights routines and stretching and using Insanity on cardio days (instead of doing Plyo, yoga or kenpo). I am still doing Ab Ripper on weights days too. And I completley know what you mean about the scissors...UGH! He counts WAY TOOOOO SLOW!!!! haha

I am VERY impressed with your eating. You are stronger than I am!! I would not be concerned one tiny bit about eating too many veggies. I really don't think you can eat too many...unless they're soaked in butter and salt or something or covered with cheese sauce! :)
And about the fruits, I still wouldn't be concerned unless you see pounds start creeping on...but I seriously doubt it. You're doing great!!

Jen, I think I have decided to wait to do Insanity until we are done with this original 90 days, then we will start it!

Thank you for your help!! You sweetheart you!

And oh my goodness, noooo, no butter, not even salt on our veggies! I'm so glad to hear you think we are doing ok!!!! =)

Thanks dear!
