I was just reading some of your comments on an...Hi! I was just reading some of your comments on another blog regarding pull ups. Here's my tip. You have to make your pullups count, even if you can only do 1 or 100. Focus on isolating your back muscles. You really have to pull until your chin or lower neck reaches the bar. Hold for a second. What also helps isolate those back muscles is negative reps. What you would do is lower yourself SLOWLY back down (all the way down!) and that would count as your rep as well! You will see results, promise! Keep pushing play!Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14685980161906317034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-929232488391643423.post-67382596077670071892009-04-19T13:56:00.000-05:002009-04-19T13:56:00.000-05:00Wow! Can't wait to hear your "after" post.
We love you!Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09332112931728812146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-929232488391643423.post-24465178539798326122009-04-18T21:12:00.000-05:002009-04-18T21:12:00.000-05:00I was thinking about you and your race this mornin...I was thinking about you and your race this morning. Can't wait to hear how it went. Girl, I am sittin here now, just as nervous as you are. It'd be much different if I just had to run these 6 miles by myself, rather than being part of an actual race. But it's also part of the excitement. Look at all you've got going on and you still made time to get in a race today. You rock, simply because of that. Love you girlie. Say a little prayer for me.Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04903029958201806185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-929232488391643423.post-45660716320820400592009-04-18T10:55:00.000-05:002009-04-18T10:55:00.000-05:00I can't wait to hear about your results-and I get ...I can't wait to hear about your results-and I get the same "flat tummy" syndrome too before races, haha!!

I'm not a goodie goodie, I use supplements like what. I think the following are the most important:

1) Protein
2) Creatine
3) Recovery Drink
4) Fat Burners-before cardio workouts
5) Activit vitamins
6) shakeology
7) No explode (BSN product) Muscle building pre-strength training drink.

That's everything I take! Sounds like alot, but to me; it's just apart of my life. I've done it for years (except when I was breastfeeding), and it works for me! :) I think certain things get a bad rap (i.e. fat burners) but there are good ones out there, and they help so much when you use them as directed. Some people equal it to snorting a line of coke, and it's simply not like that! LOL! Creatine also will not make you "bulk up" like alot of women think..unless you take testosterone supplements, or you are a man. Women just don't have the body chemistry to bulk up like a man unless they are taking certain supplements (i.e. testosterone). A smaller does is recommended for women, the Recovery Drink only has 500 MG'S versus the typical "male" amount which is 5 GRAMS of creatine, and if you know the difference between mg's and grams, you'll see there is A BIG difference!

Anywho-I hope your day goes smoothly and joyfully!

In Him and Health-DemiAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13921377966371726483noreply@blogger.com
